The Chairman, Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning of Edo State Polytechnic Usen, Dr. Obokhai Kess Asikhia has said, the Polytechnic will commence a workshop training for fifty academic staff on pedagogy innovative skills on Monday. Dr. Obokhai Kess Asikhia disclosed this while responding to questions on the gains of the Center to the staff and students of Edo State Polytechnic Usen.
Dr. Kess noted that, the workshop is designed to foster high academic and professional standards and to equip all academic staff of the Polytechnic with pedagogy innovative skills in accordance with best global practices.
He added that as part of the preparation towards the training, four rapporteurs have been selected to coordinate participants at workshop.
He disclosed that Engr. Dr. Oviawe Isoken will coordinate participants from the School of Engineering; Surv. Henry Oriakhi heads the School of Environmental Science at the workshop while Dr. Stanley Edobor and Omoregbe John will lead the School of Business Studies School and Applied Sciences respectively.
The training workshop is scheduled to hold on the 30th May to 1st June 2022 at the Polytechnic CBT Center with Prof. Kola Babarinde as the lead consultant
