A lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, Mrs Best Mbiere, has rewarded seven students for academic excellence and for coming tops in their examination.
The recipients are; Miss Ekokifo, Miss Izevbuwa Osasenaga, Master Kuti Solomon, Miss Omeke Chioma, Master Timothy Damilare, Miss Uhunamure Victoria and Miss Arike Joy.
Mbiere was joined by the head of department, Mr Victor Ehiagwina and two other lecturers of the department, Mr Akesuyi Uyinmwen and Mr Timothy Omobude during the presentation of the awards.
She applauded the awardees while encouraging others to put in their best, assuring them that there is always a reward for hard work.
While reacting, Ehiagwina thanked the lecturer for her kind gesture and encouraged others to see this as a wake up call.
