Students of Mass Communication department, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, on Monday held a funeral procession in honour of their colleague, Late Miss Akinola Mary.
Late Akinola Mary, died on Thursday, 21st June, 2022 after a brief illness.
The students came out in their numbers to pay their last respect to Mary, who was an ND 2 student of the department.
At about 9:30am, the students dressed in black, processed from the school gate through other departments to the department of mass communication, where prayers where offered for the bereaved family, the department and the entire school.
The precession was led by the head of department, Mr Victor Ehiagwina, and two lecturers of the department, Mr Timothy Omobude and Mr Uyinmwen Akesuyi, as well as the SUG PRO, Kuti Solomon Suleiman.
Late Akinola Mary hailed from, Ilu Titun in Okiti-pupa local Government area of Ondo State.
