A lecturer in the department of mass communication, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, Dr. Mrs Violet Evbayiro has cautioned students who just gained admission into the institution not to see it as a place where they have come to live a luxurious and comfortable Life style.
She advised the new intakes to resume school immediately, as academic activities for the new session has commenced fully.
She urged the new students not to wait until they have had everything they want before resuming school.
She added that they should come to school once they have the basic necessity of a student noting that the reason most student resume school late is because they want to acquire things that will give comfort.
She urged them to focus on their primary aim of coming to school which is, to get good education.
She assured them that the department is fully ready to provide them with all they need in order to become job ready graduates who will be found worthy both in character and learning.
