Bendel Insurance Football club of Benin held Enyimba FC of Aba to a 1-1 draw in their week 10 match at the Aba township stadium on Sunday, 26th March 2023.
Insurance came on the game of a nine-match unbeaten run in the current season.
Enyimba playing in front of their home crowd went ahead in the 46th minute via an Emeka Obioma converted spot kick.
The people’s Elephant looked poised to deliver Insurance their first defeat of the season until the league leaders top scorer, Imade Osarenkhoe draw them level in the 81st minute with a well taken free kick from outside the box.
With the draw, the Benin Arsenal remains unbeaten in the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football league.
