The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami on Friday got married to Nana Hadiza at the Presidential Villa, in a quiet ceremony.
Nana Hadiza is the third daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari from his first marriage.
Reports have it that the ceremony took place inside the State House Mosque after the Jumat service, and it was void of uninvited guests, including the media.
According to a source, who spoke under anonymity, “it’s true, the Attorney-General is now officially an in-law of Mr President. He got married to Hadiza, one of Baba’s daughters from his late first wife, Safinatu.
With the ceremony concluded, Nana Hadiza becomes Malami’s third wife, having been previously married to Aisha and Fatima.
The bride had previously been married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi and had six children before the marriage ended in a divorce.
