Armed men suspected to be bandits have murdered a Catholic priest, Rev Fr. Vitus Borogo, in Kaduna State.
The incident happened on Saturday after a raid on the Prison Farm, Kujama, alongside Kaduna-Kachia Road.
The death of Borogo was announced on Saturday night by Rev Fr Christian Emmanuel of the Catholic Secretariat of Kaduna.
Until his death, the 50-year-old priest was the Chaplain of the Catholic Community of Kaduna State Polytechnic.
Rev Fr. Vitus was once the Chairman of the Nigerian Catholic Diocesan Priests Association (NCDPA), Kaduna Chapter.
