Christians all over the world, on Sunday, April 17th, celebrated the feast of Easter to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
To mark the celebration, services were held in different christian denominations across the globe.
In Benin City the Edo State capital, the celebration was rather on a low key, as some of the recreational centres were void of the usual crowd that is associated with the celebration.
Some of the people who visited the recreational centres said, they came out to celebrate despite of the harsh economy.
“It’s a yearly ritual for me and my family, so we do our best irrespective of the times to mark it” noted one of the fun seekers.
