Tragedy was averted on Thursday in Nange-Ama community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State as Family members narrowly escaped death following the collapse of a telecomm mast that destroyed their building.
The telecom mast, believed to be owned by one of the first generation mobile telecommunications company, fell and destroyed the building and properties worth millions of naira.
Reports have it that the telecommunications mast was erected in a residential area without allegedly considering its radius.
