Edo Music Industry loses An Icon

Edo highlife legend and Alabevbo crooner, Ambassador Osayomore Joseph has died at the age of 69 years.

Ulele power sound as he is fondly called died five months to his 70th birthday.

The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Edo State Chapter confirmed his death on Saturday June 11.

Among his evergreen songs are: “Bobotibo”, Ororo nor dey fade”, “Waka Waka”, “Alabevbo”, “Efewedo”, “Mother’s Day”.

Other notable Bini highlife musicians who have passed on this year are: Dr. Alaska Agho, Lobito Aghahowa and Chief Osula.
