Edo State Police Command has confirm the arrest of one Favor Oyhou who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Paul Handsome to death.The incident occured around 7:30pm on Saturday, 23rd, July, 2022 in Auchi, Edo State.
This was contained in a press release issued on behalf of the command by the State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Jennifer U. Iwegbu.
Consequent upon this dastardly act , the Commissioner of Police, CP Abutu Yaro, immediately ordered the Area Commander and Divisional Police Officer in charge of Auchi to smoke out the fleeing girl unhurt.
However, the Command wishes to inform the general public that following credible intelligence gathering by Operatives of the Command, the suspect was arrested in Benin on Monday, 25th July, 2022 at about 10:45pm.
According to the statement, discreet investigation has commenced and the suspect is making useful information and will be charged to court soon .
CP Yaro, reinstated his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and habitable place for the good people of the State.
He warned all miscreants and mischief makers under any umbrella of crime to desist from crimes or face the expanse wrath of the law as the Command under his watch would continue to take the battle to them.
He also employs the general public to continue to avail the command with prompt and credible information, as all would be treated with immediate actions.
