Edo State Polytechnic, Usen has trained its’ Academic Board Members on Balance Scorecard Application as recommended by the State Government for effective human capacity development in the Institution.
The facilitator of the training and Director, Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning of the Polytechnic, Dr. Kess Osikhia, explained that the Balance Scorecard Application which was designed by the State Government serves as a template to measure the nature of transformation in a system with result oriented organisational culture.
He noted that the Balance Scorecard if implemented in Edo State Polytechnic will helps to translate the Polytechnic’s strategic initiatives into operational objectives that will yield capacity building among staff.
Participants at the training during an interactive session described the Balance Scorecard as an innovative design that will promote and get the Institution globally recognized.
