Edopoly Gets NBTE’s Full Accreditation for Mass Comm And Other Programmes.

The National Broad for Technical Education, (NBTE) has granted the full accreditation status of four academic programmes presented by the Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, during the Board’s last Quality Assurance Visitation Exercise to the Polytechnic in April, 2023.

The full accreditation notice was contained in a letter addressed to the Polytechnic Rector by the Director, Polytechnic Programmes, Are Ngbede Ogoh, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board, Prof. Idris Bugage.

Responding to the accreditation success in an interview with newsmen, the rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Omoruyi Sylvester described the full accreditation of the four programmes present to NBTE as a landmark achievement.

Engr. Omoruyi Sylvester thanked His Excellence, Governor Godwin Obaeski for his continues effort in ensuring that the polytechnic delivers quality education, stressing that the Governor desire, is to see that all programmes run in the Institution are fully accredited.

Engr. Omoruyi  noted the Polytechnic has prides itself as a leading center of academic excellence among other institutions in Nigeria with continued commitment to prioritise accreditation of academic programmes. He revealed that, within a short space of four months, the Polytechnic has invited NBTE for Quality Assurance Visitation Exercise on two occasions and has successful secured accreditation for ten academic programmes.

The Rector commended the NBTE Executive Secretary, Professor Idris Bugaje and his entireStaff for their support and cooperation in ensuring that the Polytechnic strides in quality education.

The four programmes fully accredited includes; ND Mass Communication; ND Science Laboratory Technology; ND Pharmaceutical technology and HND Public Adminstration. Urban
