A new executive have been elected for the Student Union Government (SUG) of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, to pilot the affairs of the union for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The official swearing-in of the elected executive members took place on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2022 at the schools auditorium.
Electoral Screening Committee Chairman, Barrister E.E Ariawo commended the students for the high turn up at the event.She applauded the people who contributed in one way or the other to the success of the election and ensuring it was violent free.
The newly elected president of the union, Eboh Ehis Eromosele who was unopposed, thanked the polytechnic students for supporting him and assured he will work closely with the Students Affair department and the school management to ensure that the interest and walfare of the polytechnic students are well protected.
While delivering his manifesto, Eromosele promised to provide work seminals to enable the students gain more knowledge.
Other elected executives who were unopposed are: Eze Nkeruka Prosper ( Public Relations Officer), Imafidon Abiola Destiny (Director of Transportation), Malizu Ifechukwu Grace (Welfare Director) and Uchechukwu ( Assistant Secretary General).
