Esssex Logistics Ventures has indicated interest to partner with the Management of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen on infrastructural development. The Managing Director, Essex Logistics Venture, Femi Bali disclosed this during a meeting with the Polytechnic Management.
Femi Bali revealed his firm is willing to embarked on the construction of modern hostels for male and female students in the Polytechnic. He noted that the construction of the hostels will be accomplished within the space of nine months and with basic modern facilities.
Responding, the Rector, Prof Abiodun Falodun, represented by the Deputy Rector, Engr. Omoruyi Sylvester said the Polytechnic is willing to partner with Esssex Logistics Ventures on infrastructural development especially in the aspect of hostel accommodation.
He noted that the polytechnic has been anticipating for such offer from firms and Nigerians whom have the interest of the Polytechnic at heart, stressing that the proposed construction of modern hostels for male and female students in the Polytechnic by Esssex Logistics Ventures will benefit the students and the Usen community at large, since accommodation is one of the major challenges in the Polytechnic community.
The Registrar of the Polytechnic, Elawure Richard urged the teams from Esssex Logistics Ventures to draft an MoU that will facilitate the partnership between the Polytechnic and the Firm.
