Nigeria Men U-20 football team, the Flying Eagles have qualified for the final of the ongoing WAFU B championship and by extension have qualified for the 2023 African Youth championship (AYC).
The qualification was hard earned as the eagles needed a 2-1 extra time victory over Ivory Coast on Tuesday night in Niamey the capital of Niger.
The victory means that, the eagles will be having a date with neighbors Benin Republic who had beaten Burkina Faso 2-1 in the first Semifinals.
The two WAFU B teams have automatically qualified for the 2023 Under 20 AFCON scheduled to hold in Egypt.
