Former Ghanaian star, Christian Atsu has been confirmed dead as a result of the earthquake rocked Turkey about 11 days ago.
It was confirmed that the footballer who was expected to have boarded a plane to see his family by 11pm on the said day later delayed it because he wanted to celebrate his club’s victory where he netted the winner before the quake occured at exactly 4:00 pm.
Reports from his agent in Turkey confirmed that after 11 days of searching, the player’s shoes had been found under rubble, with no sign of life so far.
