Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin on Wednesday were crowned Edo FA Cup champions after defeating Insurance Feeders 3-0 in an historic final.
Insurance FC have won been Edo FA champion since 2019.Insurance through Joseph Osadiaye and Echeta Deputy scored in 31st and 40th minute respectively.
The Benin Arsenal senior team made it 3-0 three minutes into the second half through Imade Osarenkhoe.
En route the final, Insurance FC on Monday defeated Yak FC 2-0 in the first semifinals while their Feeders team defeated their semifinals opponents Eagle Wings 7-6 on penalties.Meanwhile, Yak FC defeated Eagle Wings 3-1 to clinch third place.
Both Insurance FC teams will be representing Edo state at the national level of the Federation Cup
ration Cup.
