National Population Commission (NPC) launched census situation room, in line with its commitment to conduct digital census in 2023.
Alhaji Nasir Kwarra, Chairman of the commission, on Thursday declared the 2023 population and housing census situation room open in Abuja, said the room would be a communication hub for the 2023 census.
Kwarra, explained that the situation room was also in compliance with digital global practices.
The commission chairman, who reiterated the commitment of the commission to digital census, said the situation room would engender credible, reliable and acceptable population and housing census.
However, kwarra noted that it would be multifunctional and would serve as situation room for all census activities and critical meetings that concerned the commission.
