Despite his spirited performance, an improvement over their first fight, Joshua was unable to match the brilliance and ring savviness of the Ukrainian.

The Two judges scored the fight 115-113 and 116-112 in favour of Usyk, while the third judge gave it 115-113 to the challenger.

Joshua has now lost back-to-back against Usyk, as the Ukrainian retains the WBA, WBO and IBF titles he won in London last September.
