Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has condemned the attack on a St Francis Catholic church, Owaluwa street in Owo local government Area of the state.
Governor Akeredolu who is also an indigene of Owo town reacted to the attack in a Statement issued by his Chief press Secretary, Richard Olatunde.
The Governor noted that, the attack is satanic and a calculated assault on the peace loving people of Owo Kingdom. “I have spoken to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ondo, Reverend Jude Arogundade, who is already journeying to Owo”
Commiserating with the families of the deceased, Governor Akeredolu promised to fish out those behind the incident and make sure they are brought to justice.
He said it is a black Sunday as the joy and tranquility of the people has been tampered with, he promised to cut short some of his schedule to enable him pay a visit to Owo soon.
